Not having to worry about one of your bases for 30 seconds could give a struggling team the extra benefit to push for that next one. Switches should have a cooldown, of course... maybe 1:30 or so?

Would be amazing, but it's only likely if we're all still around for FF 54.25 in the year 2168. I can barely map, never mind modelling
