Soldier flies in with a flag and gets shredded by an SG. He drops the flag when he is over the cap point. Another player (Scout, Spy, whatever), now has an easy cap.

What if you overshoot a jump? If you land and die, you are fucked; that is where the flag is. Granted, if you are skilled you can loop back around with air control, but there are still a few "You are FUCKED" situations even for some of the best players in the game. This will remove that altogether and make it altogether less fun IMO.
