I wasn't arguing for a forced pickup standard in pubs, but rather giving an example of why it doesn't work. I was also illustrating that it can work, there's just way more involved than setting up...

Civilian has never been a selectable class on any map where he isn't part of the game mode, and even then he's only playable on the relevant team. As far back as tfc there have never been complaints...
