So basicly if you are bhoping and jump near a wall you would wall hop it for like 2 or 3 steps, would not mess with the gameplay and would be an awsome feature,
parkour style D :

Not a must feature but still a funny feature.

I assume a la Warsow and similar? Could be an interesting experiment for the dev team to play around with. Disagree about gameplay though: likely it will add a significant advantage for dodging and finding new paths (and possibly breaking the flow/balance) in some maps. IMHO those things are not necessarily bad, and could be quite unexpectedly good.

The purists/traditionalists would never like it, though...

Reminds me of what can be done in "the specialist" mod. You can run to and jump up walls and then back flip off them.

I know thats not exactly what you're talking about but yes it does change game play quite a bit and it would break some maps just because of some of the stuff in the way that people could now get over easy.

I'm split on it cause I really liked the specialist, but I think this could hurt maps and game play in general.

Maybe limit it to just scout to distinguish him more from medic.

i dont see how it could break the gameplay, if u conc or bhop you will always go faster, would be just fun / good to dodge the defense.

I just think that would be a cool feature and one more skill movent avaible, i love skill movement stuff, thats what i love in fortress games : )

A slide feature would be cool too, its implemented in black ops / mirrors edge, its also a very cool feature. Something like ur bhoping forward and then u press crouch button while bhoping would make you slide in the ground a bit.

Problem of all this cool ideas around is the limited dev dudes around..

Not useless ideas at all but there are certainly many other things above this. I feel (for now) thats kind of unnecessary depth... I prefer sliding over wall walking. Chopping ftw

Moosh learn to read i sayd not a must feature in the 1st post, but still a funny one, and anyway this will never be implemented, so dont worry

if you look at the history of walljumping, you will see the related function dash had caused a lot of issues of people going too fast (sound familiar?) and we eventually nerfed dash speed and added a bigger delay on walljumps
