FortressForever_2.2_Full .Exe installer Error
The installer placed a bunch of WAV files on my desktop? Moved to Sounds folder under FF... not sure havn't check if they yet work

86 wav files on my desktop...
I just installed FF 2.2 from scratch
just thought you should fix that.
AMD x2 64 4400+ Vista etc etc etc

Those sound files are the vox files, i.e. the stuff you hear the announcer use. A whole bunch of words were recorded for use by mappers.
Buuut yeah, this is like the third time I've heard about these ending up on the desktop - how the heck does this happen?

Not sure how it happens, but I've been told a few times that those are just duplicate files. So somewhere in the installer, it's saving additional files elsewhere. Probably something simple to fix in the installer.
This happened to me by using the full 2.2 FF installer from fortress-forever.com.
