PipeJumpWorld

Does any one remember pipeworld2001 and pipejump2001? made by Jobabob.
Joba kindly gave me his old mapping files so I ported both pipe maps into one map.

Had to delete some stuff due to ents but essentially they are pretty faithful to the originals.

I got to 20 something and killed myself, and definitely wasn't starting over again. saveme/posme would be really helpful for this one. Does the saveme plugin still work/exist? Kube should add it.

sav/pos is broken on Moto's right now. DLing the map though. Will use sv_cheats 1 and noclip for a single player run.

The skill utility doesn't work even though the lua file for each skill map has the necessary code:

Code:

SetConvar( "sv_skillutility", 1 )
I'm thinking something is borked with how FF handles lua now or something. I can enable it in my server.cfg file but that enables it for all maps including non-skill ones. If it's not an issue in lua, then I have no clue how to fix it. The only suggestion I have is to contact the plugin creator hlstriker.

Basically, the lua code should always supersede the server.cfg file if the lua file specifies the cvar value.

When it changes to a map that does have it set to 1, it should turn the plugin on and on map change, it should change it back to 0 again because it is 0 in the server.cfg file unless of course the map changes to another map with it enabled.

put sv_skillutility 1 in map specific .cfg?

I'll try that. Odd that it worked before via lua though.
