Steam Update 10/3/15 Changelog

  • Increase monkey nade bag respawn time from 15 to 30 seconds
  • Rename single shotgun to pellet gun and make it sound weak
  • Re-add single shotgun (now pellet gun) to pyro
  • Fix the spanner special hit sound getting covered up by the clang sound
  • Add in-game on-screen keyboard functionality
    • Toggle visibility of the keys you are pressing - hud_keystate (default: 0)
    • Toggle visibility of the keys being pressed by your spectator target - hud_keystate_spec (default: 1)

Is speedometer default 1 yet?

I get a hl2.exe error when I type hud_keystate 1 in console and if I spectate someone.

Buttons pressed are not recorded in STV demos, so no. Might be possible to change that, though.

Need the crash dump if you have it. Check <SteamDirectory>/dumps and look for something like assert_hl2.exe_<datetime>_1.dmp

I just crashed while i clicked to spectate someone and I don't see a hl2 dump file from today, only a steam dump file from yesterday.

edit: crashed again while doing the same and still no hl2 dump file.
