Power abuse? What are you talking about reaper? More like we been letting you guys slide to much. Before infractions we saw any trolling/clan bashing or constant nagging, we locked the thread or we ban an individual for a few days most of the time(I used to ban people for a week or two). So like I said, we are being strict again not abusive and we are not letting it slide like we been doing it lately.

There comes a point were it becomes annoying and its time for action...

I don't think it's the main problem but you guys are the admins so go for it. Really it's people (you know who they are) continually posting bullshit and being generally destructive to any form of help, advice or just normal conversation. The people who respond to the "bashing" are just as bad as the "bashers", for people who will take the bait will always be targeted.

if you want to get banned, sure! Any clan bashing means any clan bashing. I'm not gonna go thru rosters and find who is in what clan...I'm just gonna ban.

I would LOVE to see the FF admins, FF fourm staff and FF devs actually strap a fucking pair of balls on and address the REAL problems of the community.

It pops up all the time, because it is an issue, and until the FF "STAFF", and people like yourself Dr.Satan (and believe me I know you're not a bad guy), address the real issues, rather than demanding SILENCE or BAN then we'll see some progress being made.

The fact of the matter is clans and publics server owners are divided into two.

A- Proffessional and higher skilled player based FF clans that actually contribute to the sense and wellbeing of an active community. Who understand how to run community servers and have great contacts within IRC and the community and an understand of the histroy of FF and TFC.

B - Complete nubs (Inteligence wise and Ability wise - It seems they are connected) who don't understand the game, how to treat people, how to develop a community but IMPORTANTLY who can afford to pay £x a month for server rental.

If you look, purely EURO FF scene, you had some right shit public servers ran by a complete TOSSER. People would rage PRIVATELY but never publically as he and his admins had a majority control over the FF euro scene. I won't mention the name name, but as soon as somebody from the former (A) list ZE decided to buy a svr and run it PROPERLY the FF euro public scene migrated to his servers and the public community became stable and busier.

I have already sent this post to a few FF devs and community members who agree with it completely but who wish to distance themsleves from it because they want a quiet life, and its very much a case of "its too late, and what will be will be". Believe me I'd been banned many times over for speaking publically against what is the bleeding obvious. YES! ACTUAL SUPPORT FROM ACTUAL, ACTIVE FF DEVS not the wanky hangers on who make the most noise and "code" a dispenser bleep or a new wall texture once every two months.

The majority of these posts about OT and shit. Guess What? I don't even read em ! LOL I notice the thread names and I let these n00bs argue among themselves... Its always the same 5 people talking on the thread that I have no time for, So I don't even bother reading...It works well..

I USED TO run my own public server for months, and never had to kick or ban ANYBODY and it was highly popular the most popular in europe.

I CURRENTLY run the ONLY ff community clan server (passworded) in euro that I pay for out of my own pocket because we didn't have a server to play on. i give the rcon out to all clans so they have a place to play on if they want.

THIRDLY! I am the CL and WA of the MOST ACTIVE clan in europe for the last 9months, we play games NIGHTLY.

and before anybody goes LOL CHEATER! yeah read that 3 page long thread about me using impulse101 and find ONE negitive comment about me or me cheating!
