nice! should have built it next to a wall though, as it is now, any half decent person can take it out with a nailgun and strafing it.

how do you control the servos, a PD or PID controller? if not, you could get a nice speed improvement programming one.

We're just using a standard R/C servo, so whatever it uses. For the next version we're going to be using a stepper motor, so we'll probably do a PD controller for that.

Is that thing manually targeted or automatic? 'cause like... I could use one of those for my house. Damn cats running around. Of course, I would use airsoft. Or ball bearings, whatever.

Automatic. The point in defcon was to try to get a machine that would automatically target and shoot at targets.
