Thanks for the suggestions, own3r. I'll touch up this map a bit later thisevening. Lighting is one of my weak points, but I'll drop in some light entities that are blue and yellow and red to try to spice it up a bit.

Again, I probably won't release the next version of this map until FF is released, since all of the changes are very minor. Once I get some FF entities in here and do the bit of tweaking suggested here.. oh my oh my.

And there are some easter eggs...

Well the lighting is important a few shots so we can pass comment would be nice since it often makes a huge improvement.
Will give us a chance to help you tweak it :)

Now that I've bashed several peoples maps, its time to show the lighting adjustments I've made to 2morforever.

So I did some adjusting. You can see below the yard area with yellow (blech) and blue (mmm) lights dropped in:

In response to these, I put blue lights where ever there are windows. Oh, and I gave the swimming tunnels some real nice team-colored hues..

BUT! I do need something from a talented texture artist.
1. I need a new texture from the texture plaster/plasterwall046b, except its 'brown' stripe (but not the rubber trim at the bottom) to be red to match plaster/plasterwall018e.
2. The exact same thing (starting with plaster/plasterwall046b), except the 'brown' stripe (but no the rubber trim) to be green.
3. I need a new texture from the texture plaster/plasterwall017c_c17, except make the wide red stripe green to match #2. Leave the bottom trim the color it is.

Can anyone help me out?

light_environment is nearly totally white give it some colour, the direct environmental light is the same. Did you even look at this:

Yeah I checked it out and ported the lighting/sun info to some of my other maps, but I've changed over to a custom skybox for 2morforever, so I don't know which to use.

But I'll play with 3 that are close to the custom one I'm using. I'll post new shots of 2morforever (and something for 'lake') once I play with these sky thingies.

Just.. if you could change that greenish stripe on top of plasterwall017cred from the greenish-blue white to a more reddish white so it doesn't look odd? But wow, those look spactacular!

That looks so much better! The only thing I saw was some texture issues on the arch in the 1st pic.

Nah, you seem to have it in a bag. Those would add the final bit of detail needed for this map :D

this is my policy(lol)...if you ask me to make/modify a texture for your map...then that texture is for you and you alone...i will not use it or give to anybody else UNLESS you say you dont care...some ppl like to have some things in their map that nobody else has...
