Need Budget Headphones [PC]
What's the best you can get for such a small budget? It doesn't have to be with a mic as I can get a clip on or whatever at a later date.
Usage: Games mostly, music, films. Budget: £30, EUR 37?, $47? |

Also -- http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ has been recommended to me numerous times by Quake players, will be buying it for myself this holiday season. What microphone were you thinking of picking up? Genuinely interested, because I still have no microphone other than the built-in one on my old laptop.

Can't recommend anything specific but make sure you buy something that has good build quality. I've had 60$ headphones that broke in a week or so, and of course something that is comfortable for your head/ears, hate it when you take off your phones and your ears hurt from the pressure. :)

Do you own of owned those, CaptainAhab? Look perfect for the price. One of the reviewers said sound doesn't leak out much, which is good. Don't want to get caught watching horse porn.
I have only ever owned 1 set. These:http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003A7HHKG/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00 Fuck knows why they're £99. Not worth that price. Good sound, though I have no experience with headsets. Crappy build. I picked them up on Amazon for: Total £26.00 in Aug 2011. I yanked the wire from the volume bit within the first 2 weeks by forgetting I had them on and walking away from the desk. Managed to re-solder the wires to the board...and they lasted till last week. In the past I used hi-fi speakers...but after using headphones I can't go back. I actually had that mic in mind or some cheap desk mic. Not fussed, don't use them much. Thanks for the responses guys. I'll wait till the weekend is over and if nobody else posts I'll pick those up. |
I have only used the headphones a handful of times even though I own them (just bought them right before I left for France, and they're not very portable). They sounded wonderful though, and they didn't leak too much. For the price they're one of the best I have seen. Can't comment on whether they break soon, because I haven't used them for very long. I doubt it though; they have gotten wonderful reviews across the board.

point of post get a good pair of headphones then get the clip on mic so much better sound. |
I'm clumsy with wires and I hate feeling tethered to a device. Do they have a clip on mic like that but wireless? If wireless, would it interfere with a wireless pair of headphones?
