Or, if you want to bypass the ad, try: http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_b...oads/date/any/ I don't use ANY UI tweaker, because I find myself at home with Windows 7: I made 2 folders in Documents: "!Files" and "!Shortcuts", so I can easily find software that doesn't require installation, and I keep the "!Shortcuts" folder organized in 3 subfolders: Web, Programs, Games. That's all I need to be organized. Software I could NEVER do without them: 7-Zip CCleaner TeraCopy Daemon Tools Disk Digger FFDshow Audacity/IMGBurn/JDownloader/Paint.NET/WinFF and some other free productivity progs OH I was forgetting the Ubuntu partition and the Puppy Linux pendrive always at hand :D |
Is there any proof that those alternative copiers are actually faster than Windows'? I am not connived uless I do some experimenting (which I CBA doing), as well as the other ones out there.

How does it differ to Autohotkey? Google results are either to long to read or not enough..

Does anyone know of a good mp3 file splitter? All the ones on Google look like spyware...

Here's a whole list of Open Source MP3 File Splitter's
http://opensource.software.informer....-mp3-splitter/ |
That last page looks like a bunch of spyware...and a lot them need to be purchased. The other two suggestions do more than I need. I'm looking for something where I just load up a file, and then split it into 35 equal parts for example, no editing, etc...

When I find sites like that I ALWAYS look at sourceforge.net. If they aren't listed on the site I avoid them.
sourceforge.net |
I found exactly what I was looking for here:
http://mp3splt.sourceforge.net/ It has either a command line version or a GUI version using the GTK library. I'm using the command line version. You can split into 5 minute chunks, or 20 equal length files, for example. |
Cool. I would have bet money that mp3DirectCut could split a file into X equal segments (though obviously I never tried to do it before). :(
|
You are right, you can do it with mp3DirectCut, it just took a little more snooping. If anyone's interested:
- Load up file - Special -> Auto-Cue - Enter time, say one cue every 3 minutes - File -> Save split... |
