As some of you know, for the last 18 months I have been working with a group of individuals to revolutionize eSports. IGL is in the process of raising funds through personal investments, government grants, angel investors and group fundraising.

Well, the thing is, I would have no problem donating to IGL, and I probably will eventually.

But its a league site. I have heard nothing about a potential Fortress Forever or Team Fortress Classic league, and guess what? Those are the only games I care about. Why would I want to donate money to a league if it doesn't even host the games that I want to play. I don't care for CS:GO or TF2 or the other trash coming out.

If they had an FF league, I'd consider donating as well, but we need a lot more players for that to happen.

I'm putting together a serious post for ESR (the Quake community), GameSpot, and I'm also looking into streaming the pickup games that I spectate to get some awareness for the game. Great things have small beginnings; hopefully a combination of these things will help put FF on the map.

What are your specs + net speed? I could help you out with that

4GB RAM

I get roughly 550kb/s most of the time. It fluctuates from 500 to 600.

The processor is really what's holding you back. You might be able to stream if its like 800x600 but its a very slim chance

I can help with streaming or whatever is needed. Alex just hit me on steam if you need me.

I'm on a i7-2600k sandy bridge 16gb ram, and a 30/4 net connection.

Damn. I don't think I'll even attempt it then; my computer barely functions now as it is. :| Here's hoping for a replacement within a year... :thumbsup:

Regardless, I will definitely be making enticing advertisement posts on ESR and GameSpot, the two sites I frequent.
