These Mac products are eating my soul!
Due to unforeseen complications, I now personally own too many Mac products. How do I stop these Mac things from sucking my soul and murdering my family?

Phone Ricey and send him all your mac products. Why? Because he is a dirty jew. :)

Don't tell me you have an ipad? If you do, you prob have more money than sense.
Tip: Buy things only than are essential and nothing more. I haven't owned a single Apple/Mac product. |

I did use my birthday money to get an iPod Touch and wasn't very impressed. |
I'm on my 3rd iPod, and honestly, can't live without one. Next one I get will have to have more than 8gb.... since I've gotten pretty heavy into music videos. Plus, I can keep a large chunk of my audio music on there as well.

Nice! You worked for Apple didn't you. :P
I'm poor, so I don't follow the tech. What is it about ipods that made them become so well known? Almost to the point people think it was the first MP3 player. Are they really superior? To me, not knowing much, as well as not caring enough.. Apple's gear looks like current tech mixed with fancy interfaces and sleek expensive feeling build that trys to be procieved as something revolutionary. The ipad made it to the news... what is with that? |
Ehh apple products are trendy
|
i hate apple, especially the useless ipad. a gigantic ipod Touch. how is that amazing?

Every tween girl has a Mac because of their superior functionality, clearly not because Apple is trendy hipster garbage. Nope.

Apple is bigger than IBM now. I would challenge you to find a person under 30 who hasn't played with or owned an Apple product.

I've been using an old iPod for years because they really have been best MP3 players on the market mainly for their simplistic UI. In fact, I still use my old iPod Video for music because I think it does it better then the new iPod Touchs.
It's funny that you call the iPad an oversized iPod... because after using an iPod I would say the opposite. The iPod is an undersized iPad. I have rarely touched my iPod Touch since I started using the iPad. Infact, I've written all these posts from the iPod... |

OS X is one of the many 'products' of Apple, I'm mainly referring to the fact that most of Apple's products are overpriced hipster hardware.

iPad is overpriced? But yet the HP Slate is 799? iPod/Touch is over priced? But yet it's the best MP3 player out there? Zune is a POS. |
ive definitely used a zune before and it's nowhere near a pos. it's up there as far as quality of a product is concerned right with apple. also dont mac books cost an insanely huge amount of money compared to every other lap top ever invented? you can defend apple all you want, but most of their products are more expensive than most other company's products that are of the same or similar quality.
financially, you're better off without any apple products, but having an apple product is more than just money. it makes believe you are cool or a hipster. they can get away with charging more for their products because they have the demand for it. the demand is created by people wanting to be a part of something. oh, you just have that Creative Zen mp3 player or that Zune over there? LLAAAAAMMMMMEEEE, I good sir, have an iPod, see? It stores all my music and plays it for me whenever I want it to, just like every other mp3 player. I can even view all my photos on it and record video, but that's weird. Why can I record video on my ipod but not take photos? Maybe this whole ipod thing might not be all its cracked up to be. Maybe I should buy a zune, OH WAIT! THEY JUST RELEASED THE IPAD OMFG! Now I can have the exact same functionality as my iphone, but it's less easy to use than a laptop, cant see shit because of the glare on the screen, but it only costs $500. Well it certainly must be a good product then if it's that cheap. I wish they'd release the iHammer so all their fanboys would open the box and smash their brains in with it from stupidity. People buy into trends, not products. I could give a fuck less what company made the product. If it works, it works. If it doesn't work the way I want it to, then I won't buy it. This does include the new defective vibrator I got for Ricey's mom. Says batteries last weeks, but that thing only lasted a few hours. |

All you have to do, is look at the specs of the newest iMacs, look at the price, and laugh. Anyone with basic hardware knowledge would know that Apple products are severely overpriced because of the Apple premium. They make the products at Foxconn where employees make pennies an hour and then overcharge you for putting it in a shiny scratched-aluminum case, toss OS X on it, and call it an iMac, when a similarly built machine, barring Apple's flare items would cost you maybe $600? Apple is a great company, no doubt, how else could they scam trendy hipsters into paying twice for comparable hardware, but come on Ricey, trying to debunk the Apple is overpriced claim by using OS X as an example is a joke. Often times major producers of electronic goods will take a loss on proprietary goods (For example, Sony loses money on every PS3 sold, but they more than make it up when they sell over-priced games) in order to reap legacy gains. |
These prices come from newegg, I used the "highest rated" sorting. So these are not necessarily the lowest costs at all.
