Server Position Open, I need help.
 

Ever since the server went up, we thought things were going to run smoothly, and :e0: was going to start bringing in some players. Skeed helped tremendously with the server, getting everything set up, but for some reason nothing is downloading-- it gets stuck on the downloading screen, and people are getting a message that the maps that are on the maplist don't actually exist.

I'm not good with FTP, or the configs, and I'm not getting a lot of help from the other officers which is disappointing me. I'm just paying for the server, and manage it while in-game.

So, what I am looking for is someone willing to join the :e0: community roster and help fix the server, and possibly make it better. I was wanting mainly two kinds of configurations:

1.) A Public Configuration with a small prematch, and a good voting system 2 minutes prior to the map ending.

2.) A Password Configuration set up for pickups and practice. A 2 minute pre-match set up.

I'd like to get the problems fixed because I'm paying for this and am not accomplishing anything. I've looked over the FTP and I don't know whats wrong. I could use someone with good server experience.

i suspect ur fast dl link in server.cfg isnt a valid one

try to see if you can connect to your fast dl link with internet explorer, if you can´t that's the problem

For the mapvote to show 2 minutes before map ends, go to Fortressforerver/addons/scripting and open mapchooser.sp open it and u have that option there, save it go to http://www.sourcemod.net/ , go to compiler option and load ur .sp file edit and it will give u a .smx file, copy that one and add on fortressforever/addons/plugins and ur done.

for prematch simply mp_prematch 1/2/3 etc

If you're going to add those logaddresses, you should also give me a headups about the ip that's going to log to them, as I will need to add them to the statspage in order for the server to show up :)

Yeah, so I did everything you said to do, and the server still wont download anything. I'm beginning to become fustrated. I tried speaking with someone who works for GS, and they game me useless information.

that sv_dowloads link its a fake one, its just as a example,
if someone in us want to share their fast dl server links it would work.

Please add the following to the server configuration:
"logaddress_add 95.154.196.2"
