Here's a map that I've had lying around for a looooong time. The Lua is mostly functional, but there may be a bug or two.

A team of runners (scouts with infinite concs) try to avoid the team of "it" (super-fast soldiers with infinite rockets). Whenever a runner is tagged, they are frozen (soldiers need to touch scouts to tag them). Frozen runners can be unfrozen by other (non-frozen) runners.

Each round the teams are randomized. The goal for the runners is to have at least one person unfrozen for the entire round duration (1 minute 30 seconds). The goal for the "it" team is to freeze all the runners before the time runs out.

Looks like I cannot spawn on either team. I just show up with a diagonal screen lying on the floor of the map.

You should respawn after a little bit. Everytime someone spawns, it checks if there are fewer "it" players than there should be, and if there is, it'll respawn them on the "it" team. Every round, the runners get a head start, so if you keep changing teams you might never get out of that loop.

But, really, it's hard to play tag alone. :)

EDIT: Actually, it's because you can't join a team during a round. You'd respawn at the start of the next round.
