Need a mapper for a WFH
 

I need a mapper to make a map for me as a work for hire.

I'll pay fifty bucks American for the job (when it's done, of course) so long as it is done to my exact specifications.

I would prefer someone with a portfolio of existing TFC maps that they can show me - I do not just want screenshots, I want the actual maps so I can walk through them myself and see your work.

Basically, the job will be a creative remake of an existing TFC map with some customizations, that is all.

No real need to post here - if you are interested, send me a PM with details and links to download the maps that you have made.

It's hard to put a price on mapping since most mappers could take a month to create one no matter what the designers skill level. Sometimes a bigger motivator is the design idea.

True enough, but it is basically a remake of an existing TFC map. In fact, the map is already being remade by somebody here. I just want a customized version with some embellishments for my server, with all of the shiny credit going to the mapmaker. It would be nice to run something somewhat exclusive.

The point I was trying to make in a subtle manner was, maybe if you tell us the idea it will be so awesome someone will want to do it for free. If someone already has this map made, getting the files from them whether they remake it or someone else does would save tons of time.

Well, I want to have a server up in six months, and you are busy with that thing that we're not supposed to talk about. Can you honestly say that you will be done with that shortly AND all of your other projects?

The reason I initially offered it to you was because you are a talented mapper who had free time and then you went and got drafted. d: The dinero was as compensation for putting up with me.

If you can honestly say that you will be able to have it done within the next three months, then I will be glad to drop the public matter.

And no way I am taking any of those bets - you guys might have inside info. d:
