Settings in the 'Optimizations' Tab of Fortress Options Not Saved & Number Key Issue

Each time I quit out of FF and go back in, my optimization options, such as gib count, ragdoll settings, higher FPS explosions, etc are not saved and they return to their default values.

Another thing is number key binding. I accidentally messed around and had the keys 1 and 3 binded to different things via the options menu. Even though I pressed reset to default, 1 and 3 still don't select those categories of weapons and I can't vote for a new map with them either. There doesn't seem to be a bit for weapon category key adjusting, so I think this is the problem.

The former I don't know what could be the problem. The latter I know needs bind commands to fix, but I don't know what to exactly type in to make this magic work :|

Thanks in advance for any help.

1. Not sure but I think it's got something to do with making a .cfg file read only?
2. Put these commands into the console: bind 1 slot1 and then bind 3 slot3

Alright, I'll try out those. Thanks!
