Can't spawn randomly during a pickup...

So, this has happened to me thrice now, yet doesn't happen on any other FF server...

Randomly throughout a pickup game, I'll click to respawn, and nothing will happen. I can only use my binds, Esc, or console, and no other button will do anything.

I don't get disconnected or anything, I can still use chat, but the only way to fix it is to fully exit FF, and restart it.

Of course, this means I have to disconnect from the pickup server for 30 seconds, meaning I can no longer play any pickup games, because last time it happened, everyone got a little pissed, and I ended up getting subbed out, being told that "if I know my game does it, don't !add".

Now, I realise everyone takes pickups quite seriously, and they're the only real form of competitive play FF has apart from full on clans and the UGC tournament (seen as pubs have too many player slots + sniper + pyro + no rules to enforce these). But seen as it only happens on the pickup server, I can't really check whether it's going to happen or not. Because it does only happen on the pickup server, it has to be something to do with how the pickup server and my client respond to one another.

Is there a certain difference between the pickup server and the pub servers that my FF doesn't like?

Should I just re-install FF in a different place, and will it actually fix it?

I get nothing in console when it happens, (well, apart from the fact I died), and there's no similarities in how I died (different weapons, times, classes, maps - after looking back at my last pickup's log - http://parser.ffpickup.com/parsed_lo...ropinquity_b4/)...
