Anyone remember the classic Mac Wheel?

It's yet ANOTHER attempt at a pen and pad computer. What may make it viable is the iBook. That sounds kind of cool, an iTunes type repository for digital media. I think the NY times has already signed on and some major publishers. if google books ever comes online and it ties in with that it "may" be cool. Other than that...

meh, cost too much.

It a very very very big iPod touch. That means no 3rd-party apps. No Multitasking. And a pretty much pointless computer. The iTouch is great because of it's SIZE. When you make it the size of a laptop... people just want a real laptop.

Isn't it supposed to be just simply... a different device?

Not some kind of Tablet PC, or a computer of any kind?

It also has no support for flash, because they were fucking lazy and just made a huge iPod touch.

No Wide Screen either.

The killer is that for $500, I can buy a nice laptop. Or a Netbook and a half. Plus while the software might run well, the hardware is weak. It's NOT a laptop, it's an oversized phone.
