QuakeLive invites

I got some invites left if someone's interested. They seem to come and go aka disappear and show up so if you're interested just send me a message with your email right away.

It was pretty fun playing Quake, never played it before so maybe someone here wanna try it like me.

Tudlioooou ;)

The invites are from a pool, where everyone pulls invites from. So, other peeps are inviting before you =/

The # of invites available come in waves too, so keep checking it at the top of the hour...

I've also got a QuakeLive account, so if anyone needs an invite theres now two of us that can try to get you an invite.

Important Notes:
- Invitations are email based, so if you want an invite it needs to be posted here or in a PM so that an invitation can be sent to your email.

It would seem that the invitation system has been updated slightly, and theres 10 invites at a time, and resets every so often.

Quake III: Gold, for free, played through your web browser. Currently only supports IE and Firefox.

Circuitous 01-20-2009 02:39 AM

Oh.

That seems pointless and unnecessary but OKAY WHY NOT.

Anshinritsumai 01-20-2009 02:43 AM

Well if your ever stuck somewhere with computer/internet access and wanna play a game, you'll be able to play it. It's not a bad idea really, it's actually a nice concept, it will just be hard to get the technology to work with other games =/

Circuitous 01-20-2009 02:44 AM

Assuming that random computer has sufficient processing power to actually run the game?

Anshinritsumai 01-20-2009 02:51 AM

Shouldn't be too hard to find considering the game is pretty much as old as dirt these days. I know even the shitty computers in my college's library can run it. Thankfully I use the computers in the science building instead and they're running on 7800gts...

It takes awhile... apparently it's not instant but you should get one since I've sent you an invite.

Seems someone already sent you an invite, so I did not send you one.

I'd like one. I'd love to play me some Quake in this version.
