Shoop!
Hi guys.
As an original Team Fortress fanatic i have taken it upon myself to convert some of the better ctf maps from qtf to ff. The process of conversion is simple enough:
So heres my take on the classic map shoop: http://suzysworld.site.nfoservers.co...op_b70001s.jpg http://suzysworld.site.nfoservers.co...op_b70003s.jpg http://suzysworld.site.nfoservers.co...op_b70004s.jpg Basically the idea of the map is to "shoop" around using the push triggers, theres one in the respawn that will send you across the map and another just inside the base to the left. Textures aren't final, and models / signage will be added in next release. Nice job. You should try to do this with Vidars from TFC.

Not a fan of the grey/default white lighting color scheme, but I've played shoop in Enemy Territory Fortress and it's fun.

I haven't even touched lighting so the lights that are there are straight from quake

Ok quick update:
Added signs, light models, crates, barrels, cages etc. Added hazard striping and other textures. Redesigned midmap water to include docks. Other minor changes. When it is final ill rename to ff_shoop. Also i'd like opinions on the ramps... Are the ramps too steep? Thanks -Suzy :lol: |
