Yeah, I have heard a few things like that from other areas, I am brand new, never played any tf games. Of course I know that theres absolutely no way for you people to know for sure and little or no chance of believing me but still. Actually I was going to head out and buy half life - anthology to play tfc but couldn't find it for sale where I looked. I have been following this mod for a while since I heard of it in Computer Gaming World, I have to admit it looks cool although reading through these forums the past couple of weeks is interesting, some of the abbriviations make absolutely no sense even to an avid gamer like me :D Occasionally I come across some absolutly way out there sentance "It was incredibly fast paces with everyone BHing around." or
"too many tards playing who just sit there as a solly and spam conc's and rockets." Some of that made sence but the rest... Anyways I just hope this game releases sometime soon as it looks neat and all the videos look really fast paced. Also buying a game thats 4 or 5 years old seems like I would just get destroyed by everyone else :) that and the graphics are outdated.. But graphics aside I might still head out today or tommorow and buy the original, I don't know.

thing is with you ozzies is there's no beta server over there, and if there was we'd need a whole shebang of ozzy beta testers to fill it! what's the latency like to the EU/US?

Yeah, you can buy it through steam. I wouldn't recommend though, FF wil be out in a couple of months and most TFC pubs are filled with bots these days.

But if you never played any TF game before, oh boy you're in for a serious treat.

Trust me, I would buy it through steam but no credit card.. o well. Im just going to wait for ff to release.. Wish they updated more, I mean like media releases or something. They've had the same homepage for like 3 weeks now :D

Go to a bank and get a checking account with a debit card, they can be used like Credit Cards to order stuff so long as you have money in your account.

So long as you have two forms of ID, proof of address, and (sometimes) money to put into the account to start it up, you can get an account for yourself.
