Anyone seen this yet?

Went to see it yesterday, it wasn't as good as the first one.. But has ALOT more gore.

It was good. It was not as original or clever as the first film. The ending was kind of... nhilistic whereas I thought the first film was actually pretty life afirming.

There was a lot more gore. I squirmed in my seat quite a bit. I guess seeing it in a cinema helped with that.

ANyways, it was a good movie just didn't like the ending end end. Won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it.

I liked it. They can't top the first one but it reveals much more and so far hasn't contradicted the previous two films. They say there will be a fourth. I just hope they don't screw up trying to be so "sneaky" and screw up the storyline by saying one thing and then changing it later.

I saw it last night as well. I thought it was good but the first one is still my favorite. Nothing beats that shock at the end of the first one.

I am yet to see said film, I will however be going to see it shortly. Also, Saw was the better of the first to films.

I didn't like the death of Kerry. I liked her character all throughout the series, and for her to be put in an unescapeable trap was a severe letdown. Eric Matthews proved how much of a badass he was within the first 5 minutes. Most of the movie had me squriming, and I loved every minute of it. I'm hoping that when Saw 4 comes out, it's a prequel. Otherwise, what the fuck?

Yea Etzell, I would think it would have to be a prequel since they kinda killed off anyone who really mattered. Would be stupid if it went on from there with completely new people.

I heard they already signed a deal for a fifth. I like the Saw series (haven't seen the third yet). Second wasn't that good due to a new director, I believe. I hear the third is better than second though, so that's good.

Remember, Eric Matthews and the doctor from the first film are probably still alive. What are they gonna do with that?

And yes, the death of Kerry sucked.

It is assumed by most that the doctor and the cop are both dead. Quite a bit of time has passed by between the third and first movie and atleast a month of time has passed between the second and third excluding the scenes where you see events from the second and first movie.

I guess I'm just not that sensative to the gore. I had a Keanu Reeves "Woah" moment at the end of the first one and a similar, yet not quite as impressive one at the end of the second.
