My friend just bought one yesterday with Windows Vista. I installed XP for her as Vista destroyed her gaming performance. (She's not a hardcore gamer, really, just plays stuff like Peggle.)

Anyway, I have been looking online for drivers for XP - and it seems that they don't exist. For instance, her graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE - and driverguide.com (and the hp website) only have drivers for Vista.

Anyone know where I might be able to find drivers for the following for XP Home SP2, or is she screwed?

The required drivers are listed here, at the bottom of the page:

Anyone? I want to do all I can to keep 'em from being stuck with Vista.

It's their own damn fault for not consulting their fuckng computer technician neighbor (me) before making a $600 computer purchase - but what the Hell, I always help my friends if they need it... -.-

Try the developers sites for each item (Nvidia,Conexant,LiteOn,RealTek). You'll need to find what each component is identified as to grab the right packages though.

I managed to find drivers that work with almost everything. I also found, via Google searching, that this post actually comes up as number 2 or 3 when you do a Google search for "s3300f drivers Windows XP", haha.

That said, I am going to post my findings next chance I am at the computer in question here for all of the Googlers out there. V. ^.^
