I honestly hope that with DLC the character exclusives would be broken after a few months. Like, 3-6 months after the game's release, you can download the character from the other system. It's not like they would have to code much more to do it - the exclusivity is just a gimmick, after all.

Hell, I would not mind blowing 100-200 Microsoft Points so I could have a Vader/Yoda Soul Calibur Showdown...

And besides, no matter what game you have, the AI is stupid compared to humans. Fighting games are always about playing against other people.

Soul Calibur was fun, but mostly because it was really pretty for its time (the Dreamcast one). I never was a fan of the controls -- some of the move combinations were just annoyingly unintuitive. Thus, I typically just got frustrated and button-mashed. I did ok, too, but it wasn't very satisfying.
