Cruor = Latin for murder/death
Originates back from my Diablo II days when it came out, my account was "Dominus Cruor" basically meaning "Lord of Murder/Death". |

Wanted something that had a decent ring to it for Starcraft. Thought of Binary Life cause it sounded cool. In the font it looked kinda badass so I kept it. Since then it stuck and frankly, I like it more now that people know who I am.

Back in the day, I was called Sooprcow. It originated through a few games of HLM/TFC many years ago at a cybercafe with some friends. I had been watching Cow and Chicken that morning, so I named myself Supercow. Then one of my retard friends made a comment that cows can't spell. Sooprcow was born, just to spite him, and it stuck. Plus hearing little chitlins say things like "Scoopcrow" and "Soopcrow" and various other names that involved a severe lack of reading prowess made me want to keep it...
Nowadays it's Etzell, which came from my leaving a clan that I'd been a part of for many years and wanting a fresh start. Iced Earth had recently released their "Glorious Burden" CD (Excellent album, by the way...) and I was particularly fond of a track called Attila, which is about... that's right, Attila the Hun. Surprising, eh? Anyway, I was just gonna call myself Attila, seeing as how a heartless warrior fits the TFC theme pretty well, but then I noticed the surprising amount of bots named Attila the Hun. So, I took a nickname of his, which can be found in this line: "Ethele, and Etzell... by many names he's known, but 'Scourge of God' is the one that rings the darkest tone." Plus it sounds cool. Yar. |

I started using this name mainly because I saw it somewhere and thought it sounded cool. The fact that the name "Osiris" was that of the egyptian god of the dead.

Used to call myself something else, while i was playing on a random public server i got recruited by a clan called [*M*] - the monkey clan. they said i needed a monkey name and while we were all trying to think of one i killed them all with a mirv (demoman being my main class then, back when it was used to be the cool scoreboard topping class) so they christened me Mirvin_Monkey, and I've used it ever since (5 years now? maybe).

The first name I began using with any sort of consistency was "Eas9CXCIV" (still my Yahoo screenname, actually). It was the result of a sort of online identity crisis, and I pondered over a new name to take for a good three days. I decided I want Roman numerals in the name, so I randomly picked 149. I tacked the 9 on after that, and then added "East" because I happen to like that direction.
A few years later I got bored and developed a writing system based on simplifying spelling... capital letters were pronounced as the letter (A was "ay," B was "bee"). Meanwhile my friends and I decided to try working on a video game, as we had been taking programming classes and one of them had acquired a copy of DarkBASIC. We came up with aliases for the characters that represented us in the game. I decided my character would embody the various natural elements. But to give it a spin, I used my spelling system. The result being LMNtz. I used that for a few months in TFC but not much else. Circuitous came completely at random. I just thought of it one day, and started using it. That was probably 2 years ago. It's now become my official nickname (I often get called "Circ" in real life ).

Well, back in Unreal I used ¿, which stuck for a while (to be honest, I nicked it from a guy I saw using it in the demo :P, when the game came out he was no-where to be seen, and I couldn't let such a cool nick go to waste). When I started playing CS and HL and all that jazz, it just didn't seem to fit. I tried for a while to find a name that would have a double meaning. For a while I used Tsimian (I still do, now and then) since it was kinda linked to my last name. Then I found Jaunty. It sounds cool, it's basically my name (Jonathan T. => Jon T. => Jaunty) and it's defined as

Well I have gotten alot of flack for being called Beaver_shots (its my online name for every thing) Its just too funny to me and still makes me chuckle going on I dont know like 10 or so years of use now. Back when I was about 14 and the internet was just getting rolling really well you know?
My friend had an internet connection before I did, so I use to go over to his house and troll chat rooms makeing trouble. Beaver_shots was the most upsetting thing I could think to call myself. I dont know how many times I was toled by some one online that I was going to be arrested or beat with sticks hunted down or whatever. I think this is why I dont get very upset when Im harassed online by some kid.. its carma, I diserve it. Its sad now though you cant get people as worked up as you could back then. They have heard it all. I think Iv grown out of that any how. I hope I have. Iv been ban from quite a few TFC servers for the name. I always thought it was funny that a game all about killing other people and takeing there flags would have players that where offended by some text. |

Well, my first name was Rufe_Brush (name of a character from some of Brian Jacques' Redwall books). Then I switched over to Kamikaze Badger (kept it for quite awhile).
Later on, I jumped on the bandwagon and displayed my furryiness after pubbing a bit on Furrygamers CSDM 1.6. I also played under that on dVa Disaster Zone. Then one day, me and two members of dVa(Ronin and zQuark) were kicking ass on Troy, and Ronin suddenly shouted "TEAM Z!" and put a z before his name. I followed suit... "Oh god, I've created a monster." <--- Quote Quarksicles. |

For me, I was at a LAN party, and my friend was named Chicken, so I made my name sHo0tThEcHiCkEn. That stuck for a few years, and then one morning I had some french toast. I thought to myself, dman, this is some good food. So now I'm FrenchToast, or FrenchandToasted if that name is taken.
