Natural hazzards ala quake3?
I do miss the pits of doom and toxic waste of the old days, should we bring them back around items such as security and the flag room?

Not really in TFC the only one is lasers, and that doesn't really count.

Not doing a good job unless the flag is in the waste, but has been doable even in HL1 engine with no hard work.

Don't worry, they'll be in there. Lord knows I'm including them in the maps I'm making.

Probably the 2 most famous ones (in NA tfc anyway) are the mesa in 2mesa3 and under the plank in shutdown2.

Well, I suppose if you're going to mention those, you can't neglect the flag eating pit of 55.

I still get a woody every time I see it being played in the weekly 5on5 leagues. Sometimes I reload the pages over and over again and.. ah nm. Also, I have a lava texture in the map as well. Last edited by o_pigeons; 10-24-2006 at 08:29 AM. |

Yeah, if you mention 55, you have to mention the lave, which has killed me almost as many times at missing the caps in the pit

Then there are the pits in the underground way into the bases of Rock2.

Can't say I have ever played that map. Is it played in EU leagues? |

I haven't played it either. Sounds like it's used in one of the NA 5v5 leagues.
