Not going to post on the forum. The people there, and admins, are crazy.

However, I will post here.

I think the biggest problem is the fact that people compare TF2 with anything that has ever had fortress in its name. Even worse, I've heard people complain about ETF and QTF in game because it 'sucked in comparison' to TF2... as if TF2 and any other fortress game were remotely alike.

To make matters even sillier, people have some weird prejudice towards non Valve games. Which is funny since most of the people that have these prejudices play CS and DoD.

I feel that a lot of the people who have complaints about mods are people that bought TF2 recently and are new to the whole 'Steam Scene'. They don't really understand that before Source, Steam used to be mainly used for 3rd party mods.
