Looks pretty damned sweet, especially since its completely free. Well, after you buy the game.
But I'm wondering how they're going to pay for the massive servers MMORPG's require to handle that many players. |

Being a free MMORPG, they will get constant income from new customers. And those customers will keep on coming. People complain even more and more about paying for MMOs, so now all those people have somewhere to turn. And when they release expansions / really big updates that they want to charge for / etc, then they get more...

the main thing that annoys me about subscription games is that theyre way overpriced for what they are. i think £20 to buy the game then £3-5 a month is ideal for most games

If they can release an expansion pack every 6months for £25 or so a pop then you are spending the same amount of money as if it was a subscription. Guild wars was quite nice. I enjoyed it a lot. Felt a bit lonely when you go off exploring on your own since you are the only chap in your own arena... |

so tonight was rather productive for me on this game. I'm now a lvl 9 necro/warrior and I just picked up some shiny new armour and started up a new Guild with a guy that Im always doing quests with on their. If you play this game, post your character(s)' name(s) and I'll invite you to the guild. The guild name is "The Hellbringers [THB]" and we're currently looking for new members and whatnot.

Osiris, if you'd like, you and your friend can join an already existing guild. We have about 9 TFCers in the guild already and we're looking to grow some more for PvP. If you want to play with other TFCers, #thefortress. Let me know and I'll send both of you an invite. Same with you Davey.

I've tried both. WoW isn't bad but I'm having more fun with GW. Plus it's not pay to play.
