Flag pickup.

Did a quick search and didn't find anything so I'll ask.

What is being planned for the flag pickup delay? (Re-picking up the flag after you've dropped it) Because I've just been playing TFC as scout and it's so irritating that you conc into the FR past an sg, hwguy and a soldier and manage to get a touch of the flag and put it out of security. Then two/three seconds later you find yourself still alive and attempt to get another touch on the flag. Which fails because it doesn't allow you to pick up the flag for another x (anyone know how long?) amount of seconds. I then die without getting the flag further out.

It really irritates me. Are there any plans of how long that delay will be?

Also will offy still have to cope with "not enough room to drop items here" messages when we try to throw the flag but somehow get blocked?

woah, your topic gave me a good idea for the scout. GRAVITATING FLAGS! like scouts can be less accurate with their concs, and still get the flag. not by much, but maybe a little around the flag. and especially WHEN YOUR FEET HIT THE TOP OF IT. that would be awesome.

I think its a nice bit of balance, it makes you think about throwing

Should i throw it now and basically not be able to touch it again this offy run, or do i carry on running a little longer before throwing

Imo it should stay like that
