Watchin Skill movies makes me want FF to come out
Anyone else that quit TFC a while ago start downloading skill videos and want to play really really badly?
Man, just seeing O work sooo well together, and some of the D shots that people made, man... makes me just want to start puggin it again, or anything. TFC Scrims are the BEST. Makes me super stoked for FF. |

?What do you call them? Clan wars? I guess the proper name was scrimages... but ive played CS for wayyy to long now to type it all the way out.
Scrimages/Matchs/Clan Wars/Practice was so much fun on TFC. Alot better then ANY other game. You can always improve something, unlike most games were you get to a point and you are pretty much stuck at that skill level. I just got done watchin my old teammates video. Perm from TDA/cO and saw all my old teammates get tons of frags.. anxiously awaiting my name to pop up with a SG or shottie kill, but never happened. Still awesome to see all first person other people making the team win.. and cappin the flag, and helpin me out on D. GOOD STUFF. |

Some people call 'em pugs. Mainly the Aussies.
I calls 'em matches, myself. |

Matchs are league play
Scrimages are friendly games to practice PUGS = pick up games, with 18 people who are not on the same team, but scrim anyway. |

I think everyone gets the point too... without having to define what they should be globally called.

I always thought "skillz" maps were stupid, but to each their own I guess. Most were pretty crappy, too. Usually made by mappers incapable of making actual playable maps. Though I'm sure there were some exceptions. In which case, what a waste of a real mapper's time and talent
It's much more fun and entertaining when people pull off crazy shit in an actual game imo. Or, even better, when they try to pull off crazy shit and die horribly trying mwahahaha. Heh. I remember back in the pre-TF1.5 days, when concs were still crazy powerful. Some medic came out of the front of his base in Rock2, immediately concing across the water. Except we had 2 sentries in front of his base. Getting shot by both of them propelled his even faster and he got splattered all over the front of our base. Gosh I love TF!!! |

Im talking about ingame footage from matchs, thats the most entertaining. I can only see so many people do conc/jump maps until it gets wayyy reptitive.
