Dunno how, they've had TFC for $10 pretty much since the inception of purchasing through Steam. He might have purchased a package though, and its "free" that way, sorta, hehe.

You may be able to find the WON version of it, I wouldn't doubt that at all. But you'd probably have to have an old copy of the original Half Life to play it.

I was wonderfully surprised in finding that my new steam account took my old Half-Life 1 cdkey, and gave me ALL the big mods for it as well [multiplayer and single player].

I have got insider info on the Engy's power. The SG will fire leprechaun rockets, much like the headcrab mortars in HL2. The leprechauns will be a direct counter to the pixies. The affected player will be so confused as to whether he should jig or prance that his head will explode, instantly killing him and doing 4d6 damage to anyone in a 10 yard radius.
