I am not too worried about gameplay; I think that valve is putting a lot of effort into that since the game is about fun mostly and I'm sure that they are looking into it. Also I just love how the art team put together those character styles, I think that they look amazing!
We can speculate about whether tf2 will be fun to play, will be suitable for clan-style and how it's gonna differ from ff but it'll just be speculating... we'll just have to wait..

And in the meanwhile I'm feeling pretty dumb for (only) recently buying hl2/episode one since that orange (not yellow though) box thingie would've been a much better choice (and I'm not even playing hl2 right now). Is there still gonna be a (cheaper ) ep2/portal/tf2 package?

Its one thing to speculate, another to bitch about a game you have never played.

I hope they will release a cheaper package, I expect they will.
Hell i dont want Ep 2, i just want Portal and TF2!

Magzy: im sensing that you dont like me? oh well c'est la vie.

Yes, buy it through steam. If that isn't an option then you are forced to get the orange box. If you know someone who doesn't have HL2/EP1 you can gift the ones you get from the orange box to other people.

Some games need the likes of a respawn timer or the gameplay SUCKS.. TF2 may be one of those games, deal with it.

Respawn timers never bothered me as much as the round systems used in games like CS. If you die early in CS you could be sitting there for a couple minutes. I can see why some people get so mad after getting awped from across the map in that game.

CS wouldn't be any fun at all if it was all instant-respawn deathmatch. It would be impossible to 1v5 clutch ace w/ bomb pointzzzz

This is the point, Different games have different methods of ensuring the game is exciting/enjoyable (insert adjective here), they are there to make sure the game mechanic works.

ROFL... The idea doesn't sound appealing to me, that's all. If I knew you would have a bipolar episode I might not have posted.

same.

i mean if they want to slow tf down to turtle speeds they should just name tf2 something different. something without the words "team fortress" in it. then i think more ppl especially tf nuts would be more welcoming of the major nerfs and fucked up additions like invulnerbility and shit. or maybe it's just me.
