Bri's Bhop Tut

I made this two months ago for a friend, and uploaded it for anyone else to use. I'm not sure how good it is or how much of a help it will be to new players learning, but you can check it out below.

NOTE: 2.4 includes AUTO-JUMP now. Some of the steps before movement can be ignored. Just hold down jump to keep jumping automatically. Run forward. Hold jump. Release forward. Bam, you'll keep moving forward with just the jump key held down. Better than before.

along with squeek's training map, is there going to be a tutorial mode that shows what keys to press on the screen, similar to how it's shown in that warsaw video? That way they can see exactly what keys to press, following instructions, and can learn exactly how to strafe and such.

Lua can and will do that in training (along with a voiceover).

Also, the training map IS the tutorial mode. It won't be a multiplayer map, and should only be played locally.

Awesome. Thanks squeek. I think that will help A LOT with newcomers.

Any idea when training will be released? 2.5? 3.0?

just tested the current version on my house mate this evening.. he tried to bh before, but didn't quite get it... now he can and is playing FF

The version is still far from finished - I had to explain a few useful tips to him but it was great map to train on.

Can't wait for the finished versions
