Community Maps HL2DM server

For those wanting a taste of FF maps to come, I've set up an HL2DM server with the currently available community maps (as listed in Circuitous' maplist thread).

the address is 204.91.10.94:27015 and the password is "pants".

The current map rotation is:
2morforeverdm
ff_4tron_05
ff_aardvark_beta2
ff_epicenter_b1
// ff_l337sk337_02 Currently out of rotation

ff_badlands_beta2

Fun stuff. Badlands is a little...incomplete, heh. But it gives me a good taste of what's to come with FF. Good times.

Yeah, there's only half of badlands, and it's obvious stino is going to do some more things to the design before it's done. It's still my favorite remake I've seen so far though

Epicenter was pretty good. But I countered the soul devoid Ginger's noclip with my noclip and sent him back to hell on Aardvark.

Epicenter is pretty much the same as TFC version, which is great.
ff_l337sk337_02 is kinda odd though

didn't have the chance to play all the maps but aardvark looks freaking amasing and it was nice to see epicenter get sourcedised.
also realised now is a good time to replace my good old 9600xt

just by looking at those community made maps you start to comprehend how awesome FF is gonna be. only X10 times better becouse you're gonna get the actual TFC player models and weapons.

I was amazed that Epicenter didn't look completely awful! It was my first "released" Source map before I knew a lot of stuff, yet still is pretty good looking.

OK, I'll take l337sk337 out of the rotation until enough people beg for it to come back. :)

Also, I couldn't get ff_tiger_dm to load right, though it loads OK on a local server. Anybody got a clue on that?

Nothing against l337sk337, for whatever reason it doesn't work. You just spawn in some boxes and can't move?

I believe Nezumi already fixed the problem in the latest version (which I am not sure if he has released or not).

This is the latest version linked from the maplist thread. I believe Nezumi mentioned needing to do some ent_fire manually to make it work. Should've tried it myself before I left it in, but i was too busy admiring aardvark and epicenter :D

for the record, to make l337sk337 work you need to type:

ent_fire rack_door open

Or noclip out

Map txts don't really work with DM so it's hard to make sure everyone knows this.

Anyone know what the problem with Tiger is? What happens when you try to load it?
