Selection tool?

Is there any tool in hammer that lets you select stuff like a big lasso?

In the top down view, left click on the grid and drag the box to contain whatever you want to select. From one of the side views also adjust the height of the selection, and then press Enter. Anything within the drag box (or intersected by the drag box) will be selected.

there's an option somewhere, to govern whether the objects to be selected need to be fully enclosed by the selection box, or just be intersected by it.
