Rocky Balboa (VI)
Hot damn, was it good. Absolutely beutiful imho, it was as good, if not better, than the original movies. I nearly cried during many parts of the movie. Everything was just so well done...
Seriously, if it's still in a theater close by, and you haven't seen it, go see it! |

Can you at least portray to lie-lie at least? (give it an effort of 0.001%). I don't believe you and never will. Lia!

That's nice to hear. I was concerned that it would be naff and just spoil the anthology like many movies do.

Im having a hard time being convinced of your review of this film. I think it is a plot to see how many of us you can get to toss 8 to 10 dollars in the garbage.

Aweful film. So boring I fell asleep half way through. That said, I wasn't a big fan of the other Rocky films.
I'd say it's one of those films you'll either love or hate. Lets go beat the meat. |

I wouldn't describe it as amazing. In my opinion the first movie was the truest, and the best of all of them. This movie was equally true, but there were a few minor gripes with it.
I didn't feel like I waisted my money seeing it in theaters. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but don't let someone tell you it's the best movie ever made. Sylvester Stallone did a fantastic job. But honestly, if he didn't anything less I'd wonder what the hell he's been doing all these years. If he couldn't play the character of Rocky very well by now then he should rethink his career choice. The only real acting problem I found was with his son, who was 1 dimensional and sounded like he was reading from a script. But thankfully he's not in the movie that much. |
