Was just reading an article in the February PCWorld and they're saying pretty much all of the current generation of software runs slower in Vista. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think that Vista is Windows ME revisted.

Yet Win2k was an excellent OS, some consider it the best MS OS period. Wonder if the 'professional' version of Vista has any major differences? Didn't seem so, other than tacked on functionality :/

In the office Win2k was unparalleled in stability and malleability for corporate deployment. However, Win2K was crappy for games. In many ways Win98 beat it there.

No distinguishable differance nowadays tho, at first it was definently for the PC but now consoles games are pirated just as much if not more.
