this is the old, crappy version of the thread/map... but as for why i gave it up--mainly the fact that i've moved on to something else. i actually remembered i still do have the vmfs for the new version on another computer but i'm 3000 miles away from that computer at the moment and i won't be near it for a while (i know you were asking me for the vmf--i can maybe get it to you in a few months if you still want to do it assuming you haven't started it already). also, i started running into source limitations (as you can see if you look at the other thread) and started getting sidetracked on other freestyle maps i was messing with. you're free to take the project, or anyone else that wants too, although if you want the vmf you'll have to wait a bit since i can't get to it. if no one else has taken the map by that point, i may start working on it again. I say no one should take this map and just wait for you. It's not like FF is coming out 2morrow or is it?

Damn it would be so cool to have the vmfs now... I could start optimizing your work right away. You shouldn't be running into engine limitations like that. If you did, I think it means there is alot of optimization to be done. Also, the new version looks awesome as it is and it would be stupid to start all over again imo.
Anyways, sucks that the vmf is so far away :\ |

It'd be a shame for this version to die, the work you've done thus far is really nice.

Why do people feel the need to announce they are drunk on forums?

Maybe because they are drunk at the time?

Because if they say something idiotic when they arent full minded other forum members might not attack him so badly
But enough with the OT. |

Anyone considered taking on this one? Vertical flagrooms aren't too widespread. I didn't like those cramped ladders near respawns though .
