Sport games and Sonic 2 are going to be worth nothing.
The only game I know that is worth a like of money for the Genesis would be The FIRST Toe Jam and Earl. I found that at a gamestop for maybe 30 or 40 bucks once. I think the FIRST Sonic is also worth a lot. |

The Phantasy Star games will probably be worth a couple hundred in 10 years or so.
Dude, honestly, the easiest way to find out what your games are worth are to just see what they are going for on eBay, simple as that. Suikoden and Suikoden II, for instance, although produced in the mid 90s, command prices upwards of $100, averaging sales of $150-$300 depending on the sales package and what is in them. I have to admit, though, that I have not seen the price recently.

Y'know what's worth a lot?
Fuckin' Symphony of the Night. That's a swear followed by the title, not the hentai version.

Mortal Kombat and Sonic no way in hell.
There must be about 5 zillion of these in circulation. Unless, of course, your games are first edition, boxed, signed by God, never touched, painted gold etc. then maybe they will be worth a bit. |

Well.. they are in fact boxed.
Not sure if they've been signed by god though, I'd probably have to bring 'em to the nearest chruch and have the pastor check it out huh? |

A couple dollars at an outlet. A couple more dollars on e-bay. Old games just don't sell well with easy access emulators readily available. Unless they're really old, which is when collectors want them. Those all aren't incredibly old.

PS1 and SNES RPGs go for the most money when it comes to used games, especially the former. PS1 emulation isn't as easy as SNES emulation...

I found a site listing Shining for $20-50, at most $60.
That's like more than what it was bought for xD Also, just found three Game Gear games- Sonic 1, Shinobi 1 + 2 (They were Japanese imports, had to google to find out what the name was). |
