I'm just sayin that everything was fine and dandy until the leagues died. But now we need more players to fill in the gaps and with FFs population history things don't look too good.

So when you play are you flying the :e0: Tag? As long as you have a couple active members your Clan isn't dead. [AE] has been around since 1995 active members drop to two or three come back up drop back down it may not always be what we want but as long as your there it isn't dead.

Every spring we go through this people seem to forget that a lot of people have finals, are moving back home for the summer, getting JOBS for the summer so they can go back to school in the fall.

We have had numerous set backs with the 2.4 patch,

1) having to relocate the svn
2) hosting issues with the new provider
3) changing the way we add beta testers and their access to the svn
4) forums getting corrupted/hacked what ever it was.

I would guess all this put the 2.4 patch about two months behind where we wanted it to be. You look at most of the Dev's that code or map, are they playing FF when you look at their name in steam friends? Nope most I see say "playing source sdk" that means they are mapping or coding.

I see most of these "Is FF Dead" threads as a slap to the Dev's that are busting their asses working on this mod.

In fact I've had enough of this discussion so if another Dev/Moderator wants to reopen fine but I'm closing it these threads really serve no good purpose.

Corrupted. On top of all of this shit, we had the unfortunate step of our passwords table (or somethin' similar like that) get corrupted and unrecoverable.

Since we were in the middle of a security/forum upgrade anyway, we figured it would be best to use the downtime to make some improvements - and we did. Incidentally, one of them was requiring new passwords for your account.
