What are the 2 multiplayer games theyre talking about? Is it worth buying?

To answer your question, Half-Life 2 DM and Half-Life DM: Source, they're available to you if you own HL2 anyway. Episode 1 is of good quality as Valve's single-player creations tend to be, even if Steam does not.
