I find it abit shit because you can keep players at a distance and basically win without firing a rocket in theory.

in TFC when you mulched against shit soldiers, they'd miss fire rockets shotgun you abit and throw 2/3 grens.

point the first: distance that enemy is from you == distance you are from enemy. any distance benefit is therefore mutual and hence in a sol dm it's almost always better to use your rckts ON THE ENEMY not on yourself rofl. apparantly you have never seen the beauty of this game.

point the second: only women use grens in sol dm. MEN do not. make your choice.

point the third: wowz at the avi you have awesome skills1111...... quicks!2tehlulc0pter!!1! - unnecassarily attempting airshots in situations where you could play the percentages and very likely win the round by using SSG IN AIR and RCKTS ON GROUND is noob. in fact, it's UBER NOOB. don't go for an airshot unless it's your last resort. it's not cool, it's noob and makes DEATHSTRIKER6666 sad.

this is a serious post. if you want to learn to be pro like DEATHSTRIKER6666 then take my genuinely serious advice above, and if you want to stay noob then ignore me. but pls, do not try to out funny DEATHSTRIKER6666 with a dismissive post, cos we all know DEATHSTRIKER6666 is the most funny one.

Yeah, I've always found going for airshots abit stupid. Of course we all get them but I'd rather get a sure kill and just fire a few shotties off in the air.
It's fine for this movie because you've obviously only included the good shots, how many missed airshots ended with your opponent landing and getting some shots back on you?

Ok yous guise, the ways I sees it.

Play w/ grenades = MULCH

Play w/out grenades = PRACTICE

Why not go for the airshot? It's not stupid. If you can hit your target in the air, you can take him out faster. Instead of waiting for the ( sure thing? ) on the the ground, try to get your skill up and go for the quick kill.

Skill isn't about airshots, and if you want to get technical it's actually more skillful to wait for the player to land as you have a higher percent chance of hitting him.
Sure airshots are impressive and pretty to look at in avis, but when it comes down to it I'd rather kill the player for the good of my team then waste multiple shots/chances of a kill per game just so I can record a demo and make it into an avi for people to wow at ;p

I dont know about you buy i play to enjoy myself.. just getting shots like you are saying where you are playing it safe sounds like you are drilling yourself. I go for airshots all the time its what i enjoy. its the reason i play soldier.. one of the only classes that has projectiles that explode when u hit someone in midair with. thats not even mentioning the fact that it pushes them up again or to the side and you can go for another. i dunno man i dont see why it bugs you that i got some airshots.. lets mulch you fucking pussy

When enemy trajectory is predictable it is beneficial to go for mid-air, because :
- You score a direct hit, which does more damage than splash damage you will deal on ground
- It's pretty easy to hit enemy twice
- Hitting him in air disrupts his aim and thus don't let him to use a vertical advantage

woah, getting a little touchy there.
It doesn't bug me you got airshots, if you listened to what I said then thats not what I'm saying at all.
I prefer not going for airshots as there is a higher percent chance of getting the kill, thats all.

And why do you keep issuing these challenges as if I'm avoiding it? you did it on the previous thread calling me/teamfail out when we'd already asked you for a game (which you denied, lol) and now you're saying LETS MULCH PUSSY as if I'm avoiding you again, didn't I say I'd gladly give you a mulch, you really are quite retarded
