[SM Plugin] FF HUD Clock

Here is another plugin I made for SourceMod...
You can download it here: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=74249

Copy and pasted from the AM forums:
Quote:
+description+
This plugin adds a digital clock to the clients hud. The server admin can change the clock from 12 to 24 hour format, and change the timezone offset.

+installation+
- Place the FFHudClock.smx file inside of the addons/sourcemod/plugins/ folder.
- Place the savedtimezones.ini file inside of the addons/sourcemod/configs/ folder.
- Place the .vmt and .vtf files inside of the materials/vgui/ folder.
- You must use a http download server for the .vtf and .vmt files or the client may not properly download them (Bug in FF?).

+commands+
say /settime: Lets players change their personal clock time offset and hour format.

+cvars+
sv_clockoffset <timezone offset>: Set the servers timezone offset (does not use daylight savings time).
sv_clocktype <12 or 24>: Set if the clock should be in 12 or 24 hour format.

+credits+
- Big thanks to Jester for making the vtf files for me and helping me test

+change log+
Version 1.0 ( 07-14-2008 )
-- Initial release.

Version 1.1 ( 09-11-2008 )
-- Added country time offset checking.
-- Added method for players to set their own time offset and hour format.
-- Added message on players first spawn that tells how to change their personal clock.
-- Changed the size of the clock to be a bit smaller.

Version 1.2 ( 12-07-2008 )
-- Changed how players time is loaded.
-- Fixed the hud images for the latest FF update.
-- Fixed so players can use the 0 offset for GMT time.

Version 1.3 ( 03-05-2009 )
-- Added color to the connect information message.

Very nice work

I just wonder if it could be placed better. I haven't been able to seen it in action (so this may not be an issue), but wouldn't it be in the way of the death messages there? It seems to me like it'd be better off centered at the bottom of the screen.

Perhaps a position cvar?

We tested it out in his server before releasing and that position seems to work just fine. I killed him plenty and I didn't notice any conflict.

Did you try running it with different screen resolutions?

It would seem to me that the higher res' would be able to have it there and not cover up the kill/death announcement, whereas someone running on lowest would.

It scales with the resolution you use.

I'll add a feature to position it yourself in 1.1.

I don't know about you, but sometimes I forget to check my imaginary watch, so I end up overplaying and miss something I was supposed to get done.

Right now, I do not like its current placement, but I will look forward to the next release :P

What if you could simply type the word 'time' and it would toggle it on, and to turn it off, type time again?

I believe Sourcemod has a built in time feature. Just type "thetime" in chat and it gives you the time at the server location.

This plugin looks nice to have an actual working Clock.
