HD Question

What would cause my HD to spin up and down repeatedly? It started last weekend and now it does it almost at random, like right now it quit but the HD LED is lit. Would the drive be failing or could a lack of power be fucking with it?

I guess that long, long piercing and continuous beep answers my own question for me! Time for a new PSU?

Well If you haven't had a problem with it untill now then it will be the HD.

I thought so too, so I did some looking for the POST beeps, the long one is lack of power, swapped out my 400 for a 350 I had in another PC, everything loads fine. I'll be getting another soon, I don't like running without enough juice.

Your are talking about a HDD (Hard Disk Drive) not HD (High Def.)

Thats ok, I figured it out. I can always PM SoG or Dospac and they'll fix me up.
