Thoughts on Command and Conquer 3

Hi there -

Before I think about buying C&C 3, does anyone have any comments on it? What's good/bad? What's the learning curve like?

When the game was released the strategies, both for online and skirmishes, consisted of building 3-4 war factories and queuing up a ton of tanks from it while having the waypoint set to their base.

The game, both for online and skirmishes, is still pretty much the same thing. The expansion might have changed things up slightly, but I doubt it.

They're interesting to say the least. They were all I played and I liked 'em a bit. When I played they were techers. Teching in C&C3, though, only takes about 3 mins

SCRIN are as good as you make them although the superpower sucks because its moves so slowly..... i always use NOD for scermish's

i think NOD have the best weaponry because their walkers are upgradeble from other vehicles, the black hand also rule becuase they can clear buildings and all sorts

SCRIN have buzzers for troops which can do obseen amounts of damage but you need a lot of them

so my suggestion is....use NOD or GDI

Fuck that, go skrin an duse planetary assault carriers and devestator warships with shield upgrades and nothing short of a million AA units will stop you. Also the warp generator is the best superweapon, its like a nuke but keeps on damaging for a few seconds after its activated. You just have to know how to use scrin to be able to own with them.

Cnc3 is a lot of fun, and if you get bored just get Retarded mod for it, its a whole lot of retarded fun.

The new expansion pack is cool too, lots of new units and stuff, and lots of cool new upgrades.

Cnc3 is definately worth a go imo.

I personally love the game...

Kanes wrath is a great expansion.

Now if EA can just fix the current desynch error in the KW multiplayer, all is good.

If anybody wants to play a few games, lemme know!
