I'd be very happy to see the pipe down scripts just go away. It really isn't hard to lay pipes without it and a lot of the time it's a better option not to use it since while laying the pipes you aren't directly on your trap and able to det it without killing yourself.

I think they mentioned that a slight speed increase would be implemented so it would better fit into the faster paced gameplay. |

And yes, the rockets are being sped up somewhat. And the devs have mentioned that the pipe physics in FF will be much better than in TFC, with no more sliding up hills and stuff. |

Various packages work, aparently, including HL2EP1. I don't know if that's final but one of the devs was playing with just EP1.

It's hopeless Br0wnCow, I have fought many battles on the yellow vs green pipes debate but some people on these boards are under serious mindcontrol! Even after properly carried out scientific research pointed out that they are in fact green they still wont admit that they were wrong about this. Also they try to convince people with all sorts of modified pictures to make them look yellowish!

I think it should be possible without scripting, or the script should be imopssible.

Another related question:
At the moment, the pipe det delay is in place even with other weapons - this is very unintuitive and I see a lot of demomen trying to det pipes while firing blues. Will this 'any weapon' delay be kept or will the delay only last for firing pipes themselves? |

You can achieve the same effect as the pipedown script by looking up. The exact number for pitchup is about 108.5 (out of the max 189 or whatever it is). Of course, look-up scripts are stupid-lame too. Get some experience!
