Legend of Zelda movie

It's totally independant, but looks like it really flows with the game. |

Of course it's going to be awful. Professional film makers can't make a good movie based on a game, let a lone a bunch of amateurs in tights. The whole thing looks bone-tinglingly awful and is made even worse by the fact that a hell of a lot of time, effort and probably money has been pumped into it. I like watching bad movies for a laugh, but I think this one might be too soul-destroying for me to handle.
They should really have used music based on the music in the game rather than some clichéd orchestral piece that we've heard a million times before. Oh, and where are the Gorons?! If anything could redeem this movie, it's them. |

Well, off the top of my head...
Annoying "quests" Super-annoying fight sounds. HIIIIYAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Navi. Enough said. Ocarinas. Why? And the demo songs, holding those notes for ages, ringing right into my ears... Horses. They controlled poorly only to get you across the tiny map like 0.05% faster. The whole time travelling thing. Z-targeting. Really really awkward. I really haven't liked any of the 3D Zelda games I've played (which would be OoT and MM). Link to the Past was awesome, though.

Twilight Princess had better be as good as it looks, that's all I've got to say.

Zelda seems to me like something that would translate better to a completely CG generated movie. Like Final Fantasy - Advent Children etc.
