What is the lowest requirements to run the new Hammer anyway? I will be remaking my map that I never released to the public, but was the best map ever created for TFC, also.

Although I've spent most of my mapping time on DoD, I always loved TFC so have started a new map for FF, not sure of the main ideas yet but its going to be based around some sort of underground complex silo. Heres 10 mins work getting a hallways done:
Needs jazzing up with pipes and details etc but I think it's pretty nifty for the time spent. Edit: Done a bit of detail to it, steam jets, spotlight beams, pipes etc. I'm thinking about making the lights simply spotlights pointing down to avoid the backlighting of the roof. |

I'd like to see more of it before I add it to the list of maps. I see a hall way and that's about it. Make a layout at least! Or present us with ideas to recieve some feedback, or just bathe in compliments.
Until I see some progress, I'll leave it off the list <3 |

Basic plan is each team starts deep in the ground in silos, hence the futuristic/retro hallway style. The flag (singular) is on a platform located on the surface equally spaced between the two bases. Each silo will have multiple exits to the surface, I'm thinking either scorching hot desert or insanely wet and muddy. Your team must get the flag and take it INTO the other teams silo, thereby completing the map and maybe some big explosion or something. Its been so long since I've played TFC I have no idea whether this has done before, the last 4 odd years of my life have been sucked into DoD. Edit: Shall make a seperate thread soon. |

Alrighty. I haven't mapped in about 2 months, and that was a shitty little CS map... back to the point. I'm going to start work on turkeyburgers. Don't expect anything special, I chose that map because it's more of a novelty thing and I know a lot of people don't really like it. It's more to further my abilities with custom textures and cool little things. So unless somebody is opposed to it, or somebody else has chosen to do it and I missed it (please let me know) I'm going to start work on it.
Cheers. |

Yeah it's a bit of a guilty pleasure. Well, I'll give it a shot and post once I get something done (may be awhile).

So far I'm planning on making an exact port of turkeyburgers. Of course I'll change certain things, like the desktop on the computer, and I won't have the walls stone. Is there anything people want tweaked/added to turkeyburgers before I have a go at it?

Make the map even larger!
And since the scale is going to be even higher, you should also probably call it pheasantburgers. |
